Prices

All quoted prices include rental of a top modern and full equipped cruising/racing yacht of 14 meters and 12 tonnes (Grand Soleil 45) including all necessary racing equipment, experienced local skipper/guide with all certificates, yacht- and general liability insurance for all guests on board, fuel, port charges, all necessary safety equipment, measurement charges for racing, complete set of oilskins and lifejackets, towels, linen and cleaning. Prices for food and beverages are charged separate. All prices is excl. VAT.

 

Equipment

All our sailing boats are equipped with two toilettes, three showers and eight berths and has four cabins. All necessary technical equipment can be find on our sailing boats; several detached GPS navigators, radar, autopilot, anchor winches, heater, stereo, TV, DVD, VHF, internet, microwave oven etc. 220 V for laptops and mobile telephones is also available in all cabins. All our sailing yachts are equipped according to the safety norms of the Swedish Maritime Administration.

Our yachts are brand-new Italian Grand Soleil 45´s built/delivered in 2005. The yachts are selected with care and with focus on offering our customers something extraordinary. With modern features and fabulous sailing qualities, even the most fastidious sailor will become lyric. The spacious and exclusive interior will also give you good opportunities for representative customer sailings with first class comfort on board regardless of season and weather conditions.

Thomas Forsberg Nils Blomster

Thomas has been sailing his whole life and he has been working as a sailing instructor for several years in the Royal Navy Youth Federation and as a charter skipper in both the Adriatic sea and the Stockholm archipelago. He has covered more than 50.000 nautical miles. Thomas is the founder and owner of Sailing Events and also work as a navigator instructor. Thomas is a very popular and sensitive captain with a great calm.

Nils is an extremely well-qualified and competent sailor. He has sailed the “Around Gotland Race” more than 20 times on yachts up to 72 feet. He has crossed the Atlantic twice. He has been a charter skipper in the Carribbean, sailed to the Spetsbergen and much more. Nils is also responsible for the safety in The Royal Swedish Yacht Club and surveyor for the ship insurance company Pantaenius.

Johan Ploom Mauritz Ouchterlony

Johan began sailing when he was young – initially with skiffs and smaller race boats. Later he switched to keelboats and has participated in the Round Gotland race several times. Johan has sailed also in the U.S., the Caribbean and the Mediterranean as a charter boat captain. He has an officer’s training from the Kalmar Maritime Academy and has worked on various passenger ferries in the Stockholm archipelago.

Mauritz has had sailing as a hobby since he was a child. He has sailed many Round Gotland races as navigator and captain, and has also participated in the ARC race over the Atlantic, from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean. He worked as a captain in the Mediterranean for many years, as well as with International Charter Yachts on different sailing assignments with Swedish crews throughout the world.

How to find us

By car: Take motorway 222 via Slussen-Danvikstull (alternatively Hammarbyleden or Söderledstunneln) and pass Nacka and Gustavsberg, see also the map below. Continue until you pass the Grisslinge/Ålstäket roundabout and continue straight forward on main road 274 for Vaxholm/Hemmesta. Turn right after Hemmesta for Fagerdala and drive 5 km, turn left at the sign of Bullandö Marina. Now it’s only 3 km left. There is plenty of parking space free of charge for one or several days. You will find us on the F-pier just outside the RTC location in the red house. Welcome!
