Sailing- and navigation courses

Develop your skills in navigation, boat handling, safety, sailing and more. Both theoretical- and practical educations and certificates are available. We also combine many courses for companies and groups to match every specific field. Often we combine theoretical sessions with practical handling onboard our sailing- and/or motoryachts.  Sailing Events are authorized licenser and are following the official Swedish NFB education plan. After a successful course you will receive “the blue book” with a stamp showing your valid license in Sweden as well as abroad.

Inshore Certificate

This is the first initial course which will give you the basic knowledge in navigation, boat handling and safety. The course includes practical handling with sea charts and methods for navigation, seamanship, environment and safety.

2 full days 2.000 SEK excl. VAT.

Offshore Certificate

This is the natural following course after the Inshore Certificate. You will gain more knowledge in navigation, such as during night, at open sea and much more. This course gives you license to hire boats larger than 12 x 4 meter.

Sailing Certificate 1-2-3

Sailing Certificate 1 gives you the initial knowledge in the art of sailing and overall seamanship. Level 2 gives you deeper knowledge as well as how to increase speed and performance onboard. Having finished the course for level 3 you will be considered as a full-scale yachtsman for sure, knowing almost everything.

The book for each theoratical course (Inshore- and Offshore Certificate) are not included in the price. For the practical courses (Sailing Certificate 1-2-3) there are no books being used. Examina fee 450 SEK will be added once the course is ended.
